Christopher A. Mignon is an educator, software engineer, researcher, and academic leader who serves as Chair of the Computer and Electronics Department at T.A. Marryshow Community College (TAMCC), Grenada. He is committed to advancing technology education through innovative teaching, applied research, and industry collaboration.
He earned a Master of Engineering in Software Engineering from Nankai University, China, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology from Changchun University of Science and Technology, China. He also holds professional certifications from IEEE (Embedded Systems), IBM (DevOps), and Microsoft (Azure Cognitive Services).
His teaching excellence has been consistently recognized through perfect 5.0/5.0 student evaluation scores and institutional performance appraisals rating his performance as "Exceeded Standards." He pioneered the integration of industry-recognized Microsoft micro-credentials into ICT programmes at TAMCC, strengthening the alignment between academic instruction and workforce demands. He also served as Team Lead for the ICT Resources Team under the College's Quality Enhancement Programme, contributing to institutional digital transformation initiatives.
His research focuses on educational technology, learning management systems, software engineering, and artificial intelligence in education.
